Reflections from a virtual pilgrim! What a blessing it has been to watch all of you hearty souls live the scriptures in a way most of us will never know. I can only imagine how you all wish you could have more time at personally meaningful spots. You might never come back! Thank you for the pictures and narration, as each day and night I can't wait to see and hear what is happening. I will miss that. I hope you can feel our prayers for you (and your feet!) as we can certainly feel them for us. The wedding feast at Cana was the first real stirring of a great strengthening of faith, as we realized at that point Mary went from being the mother of Jesus to a disciple by urging him to perform His first miracle. Her faith in Him allowed this to happen. It must have taken your breath away to stand on the spot commemorating the greatest mystery of all as Jesus was transfigured. I know it did for me, just thinking about it. Be assured, your prayers have been very powerful. Speaking just for myself, since you have been there three outstanding miracles have happened in my life for which I have been praying about for years. One involved a miracle of the body, the others miracles of the heart. I know these would have not happened without your combined prayers. I can guess many miracles have happened for all of you as well when I look at your pictures and read your reflections. God bless you all for having the strength and committment to your faith that allowed you to want to make this pilgrimage. The Real Presence and everlasting life have gone from mystery to illuminating reality through your experiences and prayers. Suffering can now be something not just to endure, but to elevate, thanks to that visual of Gethsemane. Thanks for transforming our spirits and our lives. Prayers for a safe trip back to Wooster.
